               အားလုံးပဲ မင်္ဂလာနံနက်ခင်းပါ။

Class    :  Good morning , Teacher.

               မင်္ဂလာနံနက်ခင်းပါ ဆရာ/မ ။

Teacher:  Good afternoon, class.

              အားလုံးပဲ မင်္ဂလာနေ့လယ်ခင်းပါ။

Class   :   Good afternoon , Teacher.

               မင်္ဂလာနေ့လယ်ခင်းပါ ဆရာ/မ။

Teacher:   How are you ?

               သားတို့ သမီးတို့ နေကောင်းကြလား။

Class    :  Fine , thank you. And you?

              ကောင်းပါတယ် ဆရာ/မ ။  

              ဆရာ/မ ရော နေကောင်းပါရဲ့လားခင်ဗျာ/ရှင်။

Teacher:  Fine , thanks. Please sit down.

              ကောင်းပါတယ်ကွယ်။ ထိုင်ကြပါ။

Teacher:  Be quiet now, please.

               ကျေးဇူးပြုပြီး တိတ်တိတ်နေကြပါ။

                

Teacher:   I'll call your names.

               ဆရာ/မ မင်းတို့နာမည်တွေ ခေါ်တော့မယ်။

Teacher:  Let's see who's absent.

              ဘယ်သူမလာတာလဲ ကြည့်လိုက်ကြပါအုံး။

Teacher:    Where's  Htoon Htoon ?

                 ထွန်းထွန်း ဘယ်မှာလဲ။

Student:   Sorry , I don't know.

                ကျွန်တော်မသိပါဘူးခင်ဗျာ/ရှင်။

Students:  He's just coming.

                 သူလာနေပါပြီဆရာ/မ။

Student:   He's coming in a minute.

                ခဏနေ ရောက်(လာ)တော့မှာပါ။

Teacher :  Right!  Let's start our lessons.

               ကောင်းပါပြီ။ သင်ခန်းစာတွေ စလိုက်ကြရအောင်။

Teacher :  Stop talking and listen to me.

                စကားမပြောတော့ဘဲ 

                ဆရာ/မ ပြောတာကို နားထောင်ကြပါ။

Teacher:    Are you ready ?     (or)       Ready ?

                ကဲ…အဆင်သင့်ဖြစ်ကြပြီလား။

                

Students:  Yes, Teacher.

                ဟုတ်ကဲ့။ အဆင်သင့်ပါပဲ ဆရာ/မ။

Teacher :  Can you see the words on the blackboard well,class?

           သင်ပုန်းပေါ်က စာတွေကောင်းကောင်းမြင်ကြရဲ့လား။

Class :     Yes, we can.  /    No, we can't.

               မြင်ရပါတယ်။  /     မမြင်ရပါဘူး။

Teacher:  Can you hear my voice well ?   (or )

              Can you hear me well ?

               ဆရာ/မ ရဲ့အသံကို 

               မင်းတို့ ကောင်းကောင်းကြားရဲ့လား။

Students:   Yes, we can.   /  No , we can't.

                ကြားရပါတယ်။ /  မကြားရပါဘူး။

Teacher:  Do you understand the question?

               မင်းတို့ မေးခွန်းကို နားလည်ကြလား။

Students:  Yes, we do.       /  No, we don't.

                နားလည်ပါတယ်။ /   နားမလည်ပါဘူး။

        

Teacher:  Do you understand the lesson?

               မင်းတို့ သင်ခန်းစာကို နားလည်ကြရဲ့လား။

Student :  I don't understand the lesson.

               ကျွန်တော် နားမလည်ပါဘူး။

Teacher :  Do you know what to do ?

               မင်းတို့ ဘာလုပ်ရမလဲဆိုတာ သိကြာလား။

Student:   I don't know what to do.

               ဘာလုပ်ရမလဲ ကျွန်တော်မသိပါဘူး။

Teacher:  I'll give you ten minutes to do this exercise. OK?

              ဒီလေ့ကျင့်ခန်းကို လုပ်ဖို့ ဆရာ/မ 

              မင်းတို့ကို ဆယ်မိနစ် အချိန်ပေးမယ်။ ဟုတ်ပြီလား။

Teacher :  Can you do this exercise in ten minutes?

                Can you finish this exercise in ten minutes?

            မင်းတို့တွေ ဒီလေ့ကျင့်ခန်းကို ဆယ်မိနစ်အတွင်း 

            ပြီးအောင်လုပ်နိုင်ကြလား။

Class   :      Yes, Teacher.

                  လုပ်နိုင်ပါတယ် ဆရာ/မ။

Teacher:   Have you copied everything down?

                မင်းတို့တွေ ချကူးပြီးသွားပြီလား။

   

Teacher:   Have you finished your exercise?

                         ( or )

               Have you done your exercise?

                မင်းတို့ လေ့ကျင့်ခန်းပြီးပြီလား။

                 

Class :      Yes, Teacher.  /     Not yet , Teacher.

             ပြီးပါပြီ ဆရာ/မ။ /  မပြီးသေးပါဘူး ဆရာ/မ။

Teacher:   Why aren't you doing your work , Sandar?

          သမီးစန္ဒာ ဘာလို့မလုပ်ဘဲ နေနေတာလဲ။

Sandar :   Because I'm not feeling well.

               နေမကောင်းလို့ပါ။

                

                I forgot to bring my pen.

                ဘောပင်မေ့ကျန်ခဲ့လို့ပါ။

              

                I left my exercise book at home.

                အိမ်မှာ လေ့ကျင့်ခန်းစာအုပ် ထားခဲ့မိလို့ပါ။

Teacher:   Why are you late, Tun Tun ?

                ထွန်းထွန်း ဘာလို့ နောက်ကျနေတာလဲ။

Tun Tun :   Because I got up late.

              ကျွန်တော် အိပ်ယာထနောက်ကျသွားလို့ပါ။

Teacher:  Why were you absent yesterday, Marlar?

           သမီးမာလာ မနေ့က ဘာလို့မလာတာလဲ။

Malar :   Because I had a fever.

             သမီး ဖျားနေလို့ မလာတာပါ။

             

              Because my mother was ill.

              သမီးအမေ နေမကောင်းလို့ပါ ဆရာ/မ။

           

Teacher:  Have you finished your homework?

              Have you done your homework?

              မင်းတို့ အိမ်စာတွေ လုပ်ပြီးပြီလား။

Class :    Yes, Teacher.    /    Not yet , Teacher.

             ပြီးပါပြီ ဆရာ/မ။  / မပြီးသေးပါဘူး ဆရာ/မ။

Teacher:  Why haven't you done your homework, Mg Mg ?

                သား မောင်မောင် အိမ်စာတွေ ဘာလို့မပြီးသေးတာလဲ။

Mg Mg:     Because I forgot to do it.

                ကျွန်တော် မေ့သွားလို့ပါ ဆရာ/မ။

                 Because I didn't understand the question, Teacher.

                    ကျွန်တော် မေးခွန်းကို နားမလည်လို့ပါဆရာ/မ။
